Life doesn’t slow down when you decide you want to get fit.
Work.
Kids.
Stress.
A body that changed slowly while life stayed loud.
DadBod Is Back
The DadBod Challenge is back, built for real people with real schedules, people who’ve tried to “start again” more times than they can count, often on their own.
Partnered with APE Fitness, the team that built the DadBod online experience, and led by Jaco de Bruyn and Brad Jay, the challenge gives you what most people are missing: structure and support. Weekly check-ins. A clear plan to follow. And a Facebook community that keeps you accountable when motivation fades.
But that’s not all.
Introducing MomBod – A 12-week Women’s Challenge
For years, women’s bodies have been measured against impossible standards, especially after life changes, stress, or motherhood. The idea that you should “bounce back” quickly ignores the reality of what the body has carried and endured.
That’s why MomBod exists.
Led by Kelebogile Maboane, MomBod is a 12-week challenge designed to support busy women who want to feel stronger, more confident, and more in control of their bodies without pressure, guilt, or extremes.
This isn’t about getting your old body back.
It’s about building strength and confidence in the body you have now.
Nutrition That Fits Real Life
Both challenges include an easy-to-follow nutrition guide built for real life.
- Multiple nutrition options
- Smart food swaps
- Simple habits you can stick to, even during busy weeks
Just practical guidance that supports your training throughout the DadBod & MomBod Challenge.
Open to Members and Non-Members at Planet Fitness
You don’t need to be a Planet Fitness member to take part.
The DadBod and MomBod Challenges are open to both members and non-members, and no you don’t have to be a parent either. If you’re ready to train with structure and support, you’re welcome.
Non-members who sign up will receive one month of free training access, giving you the chance to experience the challenge, the coaching, and the club environment firsthand before the challenge officially begins
Track Your Progress with an InBody Assessment
Before the challenge kicks off, all participants are encouraged to complete an InBody assessment, which is available at all Planet Fitness Blue Clubs.
This isn’t about judgement or numbers for the sake of it.
It’s about understanding where you’re starting, so you can track real progress over the 12 weeks.
The InBody assessment gives you a clear breakdown of your body composition and helps set a realistic baseline for your journey. It’s one more tool to help you train smarter, stay motivated, and see changes that go beyond the scale
You don’t need more motivation.
You don’t need a “perfect” time.
You need support, structure, and a plan that understands real life.
