NEWS FLASH – PLANET FITNESS PORT ELIZABETH (WALMER)

Dear Member

We are pleased to announce that, with effect from 1 June 2018, the Planet Fitness Walmer Club will be conducted under the banner of Edge Fitness as the new owner operator.

All member contracts (other than those concluded in terms of our partner benefit programmes, who will be contacted separately) will be transferred at no cost to you as member, who additionally will be allowed access and enjoyment of all gyms forming part of the Edge Fitness group, presently in the Jeffery’s Bay, Linton Grange PE and Gonubie areas.

Planet Fitness will continue to account to members for the month of May 2018. Thereafter and with effect from 1 June 2018, Edge Fitness will account to members directly for their membership fees.

The Managing Director of Edge Fitness Club, Grant Austin, has a longstanding relationship with Planet Fitness. Grant headed Planet Fitness’s franchise operations until 2010, when he relocated to the Eastern Cape to pursue his own chain of gyms, Edge Fitness. Grant was quoted as saying “The time I spent at Planet Fitness prepared me well for operating my own gyms. I will always value their input and thank Planet Fitness for giving Edge Fitness the opportunity to continue their good work in Port Elizabeth”.

With the addition of Walmer, Edge Fitness will be able to enhance your member experience, allowing you access to multiple clubs in major areas of the Eastern Cape.

We wish Edge Fitness much success and you, the member, many years of happy association with Edge Fitness at Walmer.

We will give you – cardio, muscle conditioning and flexibility in this session. Your cardio consists of easy to follow movements or basic combinations. Your muscle conditioning consists of either upper or lower body conditioning using equipment, and finally flexibility to stretch all the muscles you just worked out in this session.
