HOW DOES MY ANNUAL LEVY WORK?

Planet Fitness charges members an Annual Levy which is used to upgrade and maintain our clubs. As per the contract that you signed with us, Planet Fitness deducts an annual levy every year, either in July/December, or added to your monthly premium over 12 months, depending on the date that you chose for this to take place.
Communication is sent out to our members prior to the levy run via sms and email. If you have not received this communication, please send us your details and we will check this against the records we have for you to establish why you might not have received this notice.

BUDDY TAG

Guests over 18 years old are required to sign the Buddy Tag Register / Indemnity before accessing the club and on each visit to the club.
Guests under 18 years old, are required to have the Buddy Tag Register / Indemnity signed by parent(s) / legal guardian(s), before accessing the club and on each visit to the club.
Club rules are to be observed by all guests.

HOW DO DEBIT ORDER DEDUCTIONS DATES WORK?

Your debit order will run on the date you originally chose. We do not bill you in advance; your debit order payment is for that month specifically. When you signed up, we offered you the following debit order date options. The 1st, 15th, and the 25th. If there are insufficient funds in your account to meet the obligations, Planet Fitness is entitled to double debit you on the next month’s debit order run or we may track your account and re-present the instruction for payment as soon as sufficient funds are available in your account. The abbreviated name that will reflect on your bank statement is PF GYMFEE / PF LEVYFEE / PLANETFS If you do not give us your correct banking details, or if your banking details change at any time in the future and you don’t let us know about this, you will still be responsible for making sure that your Planet Fitness membership fee is paid every month.

CAN I CHANGE CLUBS?

You will be able change clubs. There are however some differences between the pricing of clubs. If there is a difference in the price, your membership fees will be adjusted accordingly.
If the club you are changing too has a higher price than your current club then there is no additional charge. If the club you are changing to has a lower price, you will be charged a downgrade / transfer fee.
Partner memberships can only change clubs after 60 days which includes downgrade and upgrades.

CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP?

Selective Active Memberships may be frozen at any time on request of the Main Member.
The Member and dependants will not have access to the club, while in the Freezing period Medical Aid Partner cannot freeze their membership.

DO I UN-FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP?

Your membership will automatically unfreeze, unless you contact us to keep it frozen or to cancel.
If you have frozen your membership for a specific period, you do not need to contact us to unfreeze it, your membership will automatically unfreeze when the freezing period expires.

WHERE CAN I SEE GROUP CLASS SCHEDULES?

Your club group exercise schedules can be viewed at the club on the kiosks or by clicking on the Class Finder link and in the nav menus on our website.

HOW DO YOU CLEAN THE GYM?

All Planet Fitness Clubs will be deep cleaned overnight and regularly through the day, using medical grade disinfectants.
We keep the environment safe by taking the appropriate cleaning and disinfecting measures.
